Maritimes Day 15: Final days out East

We have learned over the last 2 weeks that any sign that shows a historical site it's always worth pulling a U-turn and checking it out. This was a site off a side-street in Edmunston, NB in a non-descript neighbourhood. We saw a sign for a national historical site and here was this stunning blockade from 1841 in the middle of a city. Incredible. Do the neighbours understand this history they are next to? Incredible that these monuments still exists amongst the urban sprawl (if you consider a town of 5,000 people sprawl) and I hope Canada continues to support this type of history telling.
