I love Vancouver for its gore-tex wearing, mini-Asia feeling, mountain-spotting, little-big city vibe that it's always had. I love the smell of rain and coastal waters mixed in with ramen and sushi. I had the afternoon to myself today, so I headed to city centre and to the Vancouver Art Gallery. After a few glorious hours exploring the exhibits, I found a good ramen place (Jinya) and watched the world go by, one gore-tex jacket at a time. I find it interesting being in a city that I don't live in but feel so comfortable in I almost call it home. Yet, every corner is still a new discovery and a new photo to capture. I have a few days here before I continue to travel west, across the ocean, so I can't wait to see what the next corner brings.
